Adventure Park COVID-19

Adventure Park COVID-19

Posted on 16 March, 2020 by Adventure Park management

UPDATE: 14 SEPTEMBER 2020

Due to the continued COVID-19 health crisis and the current state wide restrictions in place by the Victorian Government for regional outdoor entertainment venues/amusement parks, we are currently not permitted to open Adventure Park for September 2020 school holidays as planned. Due to these unprecedented circumstances we are unable to confirm the commencement date of our 2020-21 season.

As our 2019-20 season was unexpectedly reduced by 16 operating days, all 2019-20 season pass holders and unused pre-purchased day tickets will be valid for use within the first 16 operating days of the 2020-21 season.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back for the 2020-21 season. Further season opening dates will be released as soon as they become available.

UPDATE: 16 MARCH 2020

It is with reluctance that today we have made the devastating decision to close our gates early for the 2019-20 season effective immediately, as per recommended advice from Government and health officials around the COVID-19 outbreak.

The health and wellbeing of our guests, team members and the larger community is pivotal to our decision and is of the utmost priority. It is with this in mind that we have had to reduce our season by 16 operating days, effective immediately. We believe that this is the safest and most community minded option at this point in time.

We apologise to anyone planning to visit in the coming weeks and we would like to reassure all our Season Pass members and guests that we have carefully considered the impact that this decision has on you.

This is a difficult time for everyone, and while we are saddened that we will not have the chance to celebrate our end of season with you, we are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back in September 2020.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Kind regards

Ron Salmon, CEO

FAQs

Why have you closed?

The state wide restrictions in place by the Victorian Government for regional outdoor entertainment venues/amusement parks dictate that we are not currently permitted to open for the September 2020 school holidays as originally planned.

Our guests, team members and wider community are so important to us and their health and safety remain our number one priority. With this in mind, we are as yet unable to confirm the commencement date of our 2020-21 season.

I have not yet used my season pass at all. Am I entitled to a refund?

As per our terms and conditions, Season Passes are non-refundable. However, given that our 2019-20 season closed 16 operating days early, we plan to offer our members the first 16 days of our 2020-21 season as an extension to their validity.

I have a season pass redemption card that I have not yet redeemed. Am I entitled to a refund?

Your Season Pass redemption card is subject to the same terms and conditions as a Season Pass. It’s validity is extended on this occasion and can be redeemed within the first 16 days of our 2020-21 season, for use within that time frame only. Following the first 16 days of our 2020-21 season, any 2019-20 season passes or redemption cards will no longer be valid.

I did not get to use my March Season Pass benefit; the Bring a Friend for Free complimentary one-day ticket that I was going to use on 21-23 March... what do I get instead?

We acknowledge that we have closed prior to our final Bring a Friend for Free weekend for Season Pass holders and this may have disappointed some of our members. These are associated benefits only and not transferable. Sadly, due to capacity limitations and contact tracing requirements to operate our COVID-SAFE plan, we will not be able to offer a replacement Bring A Friend day.

If you have not yet used or redeemed your tickets, they will also be valid for the first 16 days of our 2020-21 season. Conditions of entry including height restrictions still apply.

I have tickets from RACV or other third parties. What do I do?

Please contact your provider. Each have different terms and conditions associated with their tickets.

I have 2019-20 fundraising tickets. Can I still use them?

If you have not yet used or redeemed your tickets, they will also be valid for the first 16 days of our 2020-21 season.

I have received 2019-20 complimentary tickets. Can I still use them?

If you have not yet used or redeemed your tickets, they will also be valid for the first 16 days of our 2020-21 season.

I have unused tickets remaining from a group function. Can I still use them?

If you have not yet used or redeemed your tickets, they will also be valid for the first 16 days of our 2020-21 season.

I cannot visit those first 16 days. Can I have a refund instead?

No. Our terms and conditions state that if Adventure Park closes for any reason, Season Passes and tickets will not be refunded or extended. However, we have chosen to offer our Season Pass holders and unused ticket holders 16 days to make use of their passes.

Will 2020-21 Season Pass holders be allowed to use their pass during the first 16 days of opening?

Yes. Fully paid 2020-21 Season Pass memberships will be valid for use. However, if you are on a monthly payment plan and have not finalised payment, your 2020-21 Season Pass will not be valid until full payments has been received.
